(*) PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Pursuant to Florida law, the public has a right to be heard on all propositions, except when the Board is acting on ministerial or emergency matters, or conducting a meeting exempt from Section 286.011, Florida Statutes. Public comment time on propositions shall be three (3) minutes for individuals and six (6) minutes for group representatives. The right to be heard during quasi-judicial hearings is governed by Florida law. The public will be provided the opportunity to be heard on non-agenda matters at the end of the meeting. Proper decorum will be observed.

FS 286.0105 Florida Statutes states that if person decides to appeal any decision made by the board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. FS 286.0105 Los Estatutos de Florida establecen que si una persona decide apelar cualquier decisión tomada por la junta con respecto a cualquier asunto considerado en dicha reunión o audiencia, necesitará un registro de los procedimientos y que, para tal propósito, deberá asegurarse de que se haga un registro textual de los procedimientos, registro que incluya el testimonio y la evidencia en los que se basará la apelación.
